Five New Zealand Poets

‘The finale of the Christchurch Writers’ Festival culminates with readings from five of our most celebrated poets – Riemke Ensing, Benadette Hall, Cilla McQueen, Harry Rickets and Ian Wedde.

 Riemke Ensing’s work is represented in many anthologies and she enjoys collaborating with artists. In 2009 she wrote a set of poems for the Charles Brasch Centennial, which were published as O Lucky Man’.

Prize winning poet and educator James Norcliffe will chair the session which ends with the announcement of the Lauris Edmond Award for Poetry.
